Completed in October 2025, this project transformed a unique Listed building through a carefully considered refurbishment.
TD-RE provided Contract Administration, Principal Designer duties (CDM and Building Regulations), and Design services from concept to completion. Our team prepared the Planning and Listed Building Consent drawings and developed proposals to revitalise the fourth-floor accommodation. The design introduced a new vaulted ceiling to improve headroom and character, while new Velux roof windows increased natural light throughout the space.
The works included a full Category A office fit-out, refurbishment of the common areas, and extensive external repairs and redecorations. These improvements protected and enhanced the building’s historic fabric.
Close collaboration between the client team, consultants, and contractor ensured a smooth delivery process. The completed scheme now provides a modern office environment that complements the building’s heritage character.
TD-RE’s services included architectural design, contract administration, principal designer responsibilities, planning and listed building application support, and design coordination.
